Notes or transcript:  “The Skidmore public school building has been given a coat of paint on the inside by painters Moorhead and Baker and is now in fine shape for the teachers and pupils. School will begin the first Monday in September. All the pupils that will attend this term should get everything in readiness before that time and be able to attend the first day so they will not be behind in their classes. A very large number of non-resident pupils is expecting to attend this year.”
