Notes or transcript:  “George Manchester and C. W. Barrett returned Tuesday evening from a week’s trip through South Dakota where they went to look at farming lands. They say the counties visited by them contain some good land if a fellow has a little money to invest. As an instance: One man who went there one year ago bought 1,200 acres of land, borrowing $6,000 on it, and last week was offered $10,000 for his bargain.”
