Notes or transcript:  “Sunday afternoon was a little damp but the game of base ball between the Skidmore and Quitman teams slated for that date was pulled off in the presence of a pretty fair sized crowd of boys. The game resulted in a victory for the home team by a score of 11 to 6. The forenoon game by Skidmore and Burr Oak teams was won by the home team by a score of 11 to 10.”
