Notes or transcript:  “E. J. Bender and his mother and Wesley Clark of Skidmore and W. D. Beaver left Tuesday morning for Denver and other points in Colorado. This is the first vacation Mr. Bender has had for nearly eight years and he will doubtless enjoy it greatly. He will be gone a week or ten days. Mrs. Bender goes for her health and Mr. Clark to look after his investments in that country. W. D. Beaver also expects to return in a few days. – Elmo Register.”
