Notes or transcript:  “Wednesday at four o’clock p.m., six miles southwest of this city, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Taylor, occurred the marriage of their daughter, Miss Oda, to Mr. John Brown, an energetic young farmer of near this city. Rev. Lane Douglas was the officiating minister. Mr. and Mrs. Brown have gone to housekeeping on the Beverlin farm one mile south of town.”
