A Big Dinner.

A dinner was given Sunday, December 1st at the home of Mrs. Lucinda Owens, six miles northeast of town, in honor of Grant Funk and family of Beloit, Kansas. The dinner which was prepared by Mrs. Owens and daughters, Misses Maude and Maggie, was one to long be remembered by those who were there.

The guests departed in the evening feeling that they had spent a very pleasant day.

Those present were: Grant Funk and family, Martin Owens and family, Elmer Owens and wife, Clarence Owens and family, James Shull and family, Tho. Patton and wife, Wm. Sharp and wife, Roy Slauson and family, J. W. Linville and wife, Mrs. J. H. Linville, Wm. Taylor and family, Hugh McDonald and family, Misses Golda Funk, Nora Linville, Edna Shull, Eda Owens and Miss Monroe.
