Article title:  Fatal Shooting

Notes or transcript:  Article reporting that Grant Watson, foreman of one of the Bilby ranches in Atchison County northeast of Skidmore, shot and killed George Aburthnot at close range. Reports said that Aburthnot went to the ranch and “became abusive and began making trouble” and “made a gun play” when Watson told him to leave. Watson and the remains of Aburthnot were taken to Rock Port, where an inquest was held on the 16th.
