Notes or transcript:  “Charles Blagg a young man of Maryville who has been teaching near Burlington Junction, lost his voice last week and had to give up his school. His throat affection came on suddenly, and aside from hoarseness and a slight headache he felt as well as usual. The hoarseness became worse and now he cannot speak above a whisper.”
