Notes or transcript:  Brief announcement that there would be an election of city officers for Skidmore on Tuesday, April 1. Offices up for election were Mayor, Collector, Marshal, and two Aldermen from the First and Second ward, one Alderman to be elected for a 2-year term and one to be elected for a 1-year term. First Ward elections were held in Bosley’s grain office, and Second Ward elections were held at Dawson’s feed store. The notice was signed by J. D. Montgomery, Mayor, and E. D. French, City Clerk.”
