Notes or transcript:  “F. W. Brittenham received a telegram last Saturday morning stating that his son, Noah or more familiarly known as ‘Tim’ who lives at Greenwood Nebr. Received a sun stroke on Friday and that he was not expected to live. Tom Brittenham drove to Burlington Junction Saturday and took the first train for Greenwood, arriving there he found his brother greatly improved and on a fair way to recovery. Mr. Brittenham at one time lived in Skidmore and has many friends here who will be glad to hear of his recovery.”
