Notes or transcript:  “Monday, January 7, Hawley H. Nash and wife celebrated their golden wedding at their daughter’s, Mrs. B. E. Wood, of Skidmore. Many of the old settlers here remember Mr. Nash. Many years ago Burnett & Nash were millers in this part of the country. After separating, Mr. Nash went to where Skidmore now is and run the old Downing mill. – Elmo Register.”
