Christian Church Bazaar a Great Success, 1907

We have no doubt that it was a rousing success.  (The Internet tells us that $90 in 1907 would be something like $2200 in 2018 dollars.)  From the April 11, 1907 edition of the Skidmore New Era (Skidmore, Missouri), page 1:

The Christian Church Bazar.

The bazar which was held by the ladies of the Christian church, March 29 and 30, was a grand success.  Their goods all sold at good prices and on Saturday, when they served dinner and supper, their long-standing reputation as cooks brought them net proceeds of over ninety dollars, this including all sales.
