Notes or transcript:  “Dan Furguson confessed, last Monday, to having murdered Samuel Crow near Oregon a short time ago. He also implicated his two brothers, Tom and William, and his brother-in-law, David Miller. The murder was one of the most brutal and shocking that was ever committed. A small amount of money was the only incentive, so Furguson said in his confession.”
