Dawson Buys Bakery, 1906

Business news from the Skidmore New Era, September 20, 1906, page 1:

Restaurant Changes Hands.

I. S. Dawson and wife are now in possession of the Home Bakery, having purchased the stock and fixtures from Frank Weston the first of the week.

Mr. and Mrs. Dawson are well known here, having lived here for some time previous to their removal to St. Joseph last spring, and will no doubt receive the liberal patronage that Mr. and Mrs. Weston received while in business here.

Mr. Weston and wife will make their home in Mound City this winter and then take charge of their farm near that place next March.
