Notes or transcript:  “Public Sale! I will sell at the W. L. Diggs farm 1/2 mile north of Skidmore on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 1899 the following property: 25 cattle. 60 hogs. Ten cows, giving milk, five with calves by their side; 2 yearling heifers, 6 steer calves, 2 grade bulls, one yearling and one two-year-old; 20 brood sows, 40 shoats, 1 male hog, 100 bushels seed oats, 1 stalk cutter, 4 cultivators, 2 listers, 2 drills, 3 go-devils, 1 ten foot steel harrow, and 3 sets of work harness. Terms: – All sums of $10 dollars or less, cash; over that amount 12 months time will be given with interest at 8 per cent, purchaser giving note with approved security. Two per cent off for cash.
