Dinner for Violet Lent

Not one, but two parties at the Dilts house.  Excellent!  From the May 19, 1921 Skidmore News, page 1:

Dinner for Violet Lent

Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Dilts entertained at dinner Sunday in honor of Violet Lent’s eleventh birthday.

Those present were:  Mr. and Mrs. Will Ellsworth, Mrs. Martha Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ware, Henry Ellsworth, Pearl Crawford, the guest of honor and the host and hostess.

After dinner visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Riggle, Grandma Riggle, Earl, Roy and Flo Riggle, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Saxon and Mrs. Pierce.

 

Surprise Party.

Mr. and Mrs. Gaylord Dilts were very pleasantly surprised Monday night.  The evening was spent in visiting and listening to music on the Victrola.  Refreshments of angel food cake and orangeade were served.
