Notes or transcript:  “M. N. Dougherty returned, Tuesday evening from Tecumseh, Nebraska, where he has been visiting for several days, and his most intimate friends had to take two looks before they could recognize him. There wasn’t so much of a change in ‘Jick,’ but it was ‘that hat’ which he wore. He probably intends to start out selling patent medicine and is wearing the high, silk hat as a starter.”
