Easter births, 1909

Some good news from the April 15, 1909 edition of the Skidmore New Era (Skidmore, Missouri), page 6:

Easter Flowers.

One of the fairest of all Easter Lillies bloomed in the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Reimer’s, Sunday morning April 11.  Mr. and Mrs. Reimer are as proud over their young “Napoleon” as the “Newly Weds.”  We dare say they are not as silly, for parents, you know, are never foolish over their first-born.

Mr. and Mrs. William Charles are the happy parents of a fine sweet girl babe, which made her arrival Wednesday, April 7.  Mother and the little Miss are getting along nicely and Will — well he is convalescent.

Mr. and Mrs. George Gill, three miles east of town, are rejoicing over the advent of a little son at their home, born April 17.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Fleming a fine 7 1/2 pound girl.  The little Miss made her arrival Saturday, April 8.  Mr. Fleming is our new Farmers Mutual Telephone central operator. Mother and babe are getting along nicely. [Could be April 3 – print is smudged.]
