Emogene Moorhead – A Fine Painting

Art news from the March 20, 1903 Skidmore Standard, page 1:

A Fine Painting.

Mrs. Emogene Moorhead, one of Skidmore’s artists, has just finished painting a very fine study entitled, “Pilgrims Progress Illustrated.”  The work appeals especially to those who have read the book “Pilgrims Progress.”  The painting is the writing illustrated from the beginning to the end.  Some very fine effects are produced, and, in all, is certainly a fine piece of work and worthy of more than a passing glance.

Mrs. Moorhead spent an immense amount of time and labor on this production and one does not have to be a competent judge to see that her work has not been in vain.

The picture was made for C. E. Painter and will form a part of his collection of art.
