Notes or transcript:  “Those who went to the Big Lake this week to make a big catch of croppies were greatly disappointed as the wind was blowing strong and the ‘white caps’ were running high, however they caught some fish and had a good time shooting ‘mud-hens.’ Those who went from here were James Parshall, A. F. Hitchcock, F. W. Strickler, Geo. Manchester, and M. A. Sewell.”
