On account of bad weather only 4 colts were present, but they were all rattling good ones. Mr. Albert Spruceman, who lives west of Maitland, was awarded the premium on a colt that weighed 570 pounds. The other entries were made by Harvey Sprecher, L. P. Hall and Perry Elder. W. S. Linville, A. H. Garnett and A. Pinkston were the judges.”
