Article title:  Traded for a Store.

Notes or transcript:  “C. E. Owens, west of town, didn’t want to spend the winter on his farm so he traded for the Dotham store the fore part of the week. R. C. Woodhouse is the other principal in the deal. T. L. Howden and Bert Garnett went out early Wednesday morning to help invoice the stock. Mr. Owens has had experience in the mercantile business and is a general good fellow so we do not hesitate to say that he will make a success in this venture.”
