Notes or transcript:  “Mr. Fayette Cook lies very ill in his elegant new home on South Walnut street. Dr. Geiger of St. Joseph was summoned last Friday evening. After examining his patient he announced that death would be inevitable within eight or ten days. It is very sad, indeed, to have the future revealed thus, and the sympathy of all goes out to the grief-stricken family.”
