Gillilland, Bender, and Brown leave for Texas

Migration news from the March 7, 1907 edition of the Skidmore New Era (Skidmore, Missouri), page 4:

Gone to Texas.

The latter part of last week and the fore part of this was a busy time for Clyde Gillilland, E. R. Bender, and Frank Brown, for they were engaged in hauling their personal effects through the mud to town and packing them away in cars for their removal to Canadian, Texas, where each one of these gentlemen recently purchased farms.  They finished the work of preparation for their trip Tuesday morning and their cars were coupled to the south-bound freight that day and started for their destination.

The many friends they leave behind hope they will like their new homes and that success in a financial way will be theirs.
