700 men, women and children wanted at Sunday School and church next Sunday in Skidmore, Missouri. There are 3 good Sunday Schools and 3 good churches in Skidmore and you can take your choice. Loyalty is the watchword of today. Why not express your loyalty to the church next Sunday? The Y. M. C. A. and Red Cross are doing valiant service for our soldier boys -- back of these splendid organizations is the church serving the world in everything that is for the uplift of humanity. What is your attitude toward the church? The Sunday school is the most important auxiliary of the church? Why not show your interest in the Sunday school and church next Sunday? A committee representing each of the churches will call at all homes in Skidmore on Friday evening after seven o'clock and a committee will telephone to those living in the country, extending to you a special invitation to attend. Good Friday and a Good Cause. Sunday School will begin at each of the churches at 10:00 a.m. Preaching service at each of the three churches at 11 a.m. Don't forget the hour, and don't forget that you are invited. At the evening hour -- 7:30 new time -- there will be a union service at the M. E. Church, South. It is hoped that everybody in and around Skidmore will attend at least one service at some one of the churches next Sunday. If you want to come and do not feel like walking, and have no way to ride, 'phone to the pastor, or superintendent of the Sunday school, of the church you wish to attend, and a conveyance will be provided. Set your timepieces ahead 1 hour before you retire Saturday night: All services will begin promptly according to the NEW time schedule. It will be Go To Church Day in Skidmore.
