Notes or transcript:  “W. R. Linville purchased Theodore Gwin’s fine farm of 200 acres, 2 1/2 miles northeast of Skidmore, Wednesday, paying $55 per acre. Mr. Linville thinks Nodaway county land about the best investment that a man can put his money into, and he and his two sons, Aaron and William, own 840 acres of as fine farming land as can be found anywhere.”
