Notes or transcript:  “A Few friends in response to invitations gathered at the home of T. L. Howden and wife last Tuesday evening and spent one of the most pleasant times of their lives. The party was given in honor of Misses Minta Howden and Edith Torrey. The evening was spent in playing progressive games and so well were the guests enjoying themselves that the night was far advanced before they departed for their homes. Nice refreshments of ice cream, cake, and lemonade were served during the evening.”
