Notes or transcript:  “An insignificant looking sheet has made its appearance in this community and has become quite popular. It is non-religious, non-political and already has a larger circulation than any other paper in town. It is not very attractive, but somehow or other people got stuck on it. It cannot properly be called sporty, but it is a fly paper just the same. – Ex.”
