Basket Ball Game Tonight.
There is a double header basket ball game in Skidmore tonight (Thursday).

The hall should be jammed for this game. The boys and girls will battle the Daleview Community girls and the Eagles will try and take the measure of the strong Rockport Town Team. This event promises to be one of the best of the season. First game called at 7:30 o’clock prompt.

The Skidmore Eagles defeated the Graham Blues on the local court, Friday night, 31-13. It was a good fast game and some good ball was played by both teams. Peoples and Beverlin five field goals each.

The game started out fast and furious and John Fullerton for the Eagles soon looped a neat side shot for the first marker and his team mates were not long in locating the basket. Graham has a good clean bunch of players, but were unable to solve the strong defense of the Eagles.

A good bunch of rooters were out and had a lot of pep, which is a great help for the players.
