Loucks-Shell

There were three sets of wedding bells in the July 15, 1909 Skidmore New Era (Skidmore, Missouri), and we would be remiss if we did not include the following from page 4:

Loucks-Shell

P. I. Loucks and Miss Gertrude Shell were married at Stilwell, Oklahoma, Sunday, July 11, 1909.  Mr. Loucks is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Loucks south of town, and left here last spring for Oklahoma, where he had rented a farm near Stilwell.

Miss Shell is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Shell, southeast of here, and took the train Friday morning for Stilwell, where she was to meet the bridegroom.

The New Era joins their many friends in extending congratulations to the happy couple.
