Notes or transcript:  “By the liberal patronage of the Skidmore people to the ice cream suppers given by the Manchester Band at three different times, the band has secured enough money to purchase some new horns and music. They have been doing some faithful practicing the past week, and all those that attend the supper tomorrow afternoon and evening will be furnished with some good music along with the dish – or dishes – of ice cream which you are asked to buy.”
