Notes or transcript:  “As Guy Sewell and family, accompanied by Miss Bertha Mast were returning home from Mr. Taylor’s Tuesday evening, the mule team they were driving became frightened at some school children. Guy attempted to get out of the buggy but caught his foot in the lap robe and fell and let the mules get away from him after they had broken the tongue. They were finally caught, after an exciting chase, at Mr. Shull’s. Fortunately for all concerned no one was seriously hurt.”
