McKee-Johnson

The marriage of Miss Fern McKee, Maryville, to Ralph Johnson, Skidmore, took place Tuesday night at 7 o’clock at the parsonage of the First Christian church.  The marriage lines were read by the Rev. R. E. Snodgrass, who used the single ring ceremony.  The bride wore a gown of dark blue georgette with a hat and shoes to correspond, and carried an arm bouquet of bride’s roses.  The couple was accompanied by the bride’s sister, Mrs. Henry Swaney, and Miss Dale Skinner.  The young couple left immediately for Lansing, Kans., where Mr. Johnson is in the restaurant business.  They will probably spend New Years at the home of Mr. Johnson’s sister, Mrs. Ethon Casper, at Garden Grove.  Miss McKee is the daughter of Mrs. W. R. McKee of Pickering.  For three years she was employed as telephone operator at Pickering and for the last six years has had a similar position with the Farmers Telephone Union in Maryville.  Mr. Johnson is the son of Albert Johnson of Skidmore.  Maryville Tribune, Dec. 23.
