Notes or transcript:  “Trephus Littler pitched a jug off a load of hay, last week, to Ephram Medsker, who was standing on the ground. The sun was shining in his eyes and he could not see the jug which landed on top of his head, knocking him down. The jug was broken all to pieces and after Eph had recovered from the shock and wiped the water from his face Littler was heard to remark that they had the worst luck with their jugs of any body in the country.”
