Notes or transcript:  “Missouri is starting in at her usual gait as a prize winning state at the exposition. She has been awarded first prize on strawberries at the Buffalo Exposition. Missouri carried off more prizes at the World’s Fair and Paris Exposition than any other state or country on the face of the earth. Just wait and watch her spread herself at the St. Louis Exposition in 1903. Even the Missourians, no doubt, will be surprised at her wonderful displays.”
