Notes or transcript:  Obituary for James Bonapart Nelson, born Genera, Indiana, on June 13, 1866. He came west when 18 years old. He had four sisters living in Indiana. He was employed on the farm of Mrs. Lucinda Owens and was killed in a cave-in at the coal mine on that property. He was buried in the Masonic cemetery.
