New Curtain for Opera House

Front-page news from the April 22, 1904 Skidmore Standard.  The editor of the Standard was always a fan of new advertising:

New Curtain for Opera House
Manager Walker of the Opera House is having Doxie, the sign painter, to paint a new curtain for the opera house.  It promises to be something new and up to the standard.  This will greatly improve the opera house in appearance.  There will be several new advertisements appear on this one that was not on the old one, and in fact they are all new.
