Ordinance No. 69, 1913

This amendment to Skidmore, Missouri’s code gives us a glimpse into the business community in 1913. ¬†As published in the June 12, 1913 Skidmore New Era, page 8:

Ordinance No. 69.

Amending section three (3) of chapter (12) of the City of Skidmore to read that every bank, merchant, grocer, confectioner, butcher, photographer, livery stable keeper, insurance agent, loan agent, owner automobile garage, cream and poultry dealer, telephone company, hotel keeper, public boarding house keeper, owner of scales where compensation is received for weighing, owner of automobiles when compensation is received for carrying passengers, barber shops and blacksmith shall pay above specified license.
