Notes or transcript:  “A move is on foot to build an electric railway connecting the towns of Kansas City, Camden Point, Richmond, Lexington, Odessa, Warrensburg, Holden, Pleasant Hill and Lees Summit and then back to Kansas City. The day is not far advanced when all the small towns in the state will be connected with electric railways. Then what will become of the steam railways? They will be a back number and anything out of style at this day and age receives very little attention.”
