Real Estate Changes, 1909

The following news from the bustling town of Skidmore, Missouri appeared in the August 12, 1909 edition of the Skidmore New Era:

A Few Real Estate Changes.

A. F. Howden has purchased the Beal Rosberry property, located between the T. L. Marlin and E. T. Duval residences. This property is now occupied by Ernest Prang, whose lease will not expire for some six or seven months yet. Mr. and Mrs. Howden bought this place for a home and expect to move to town as soon as they can get possession. It is one of the good, substantial residences of the town and will make a very desirable and pretty home for them. The deal was made through W. M. Howden. Consideration for property a little less than $2,500.

Mrs. Anne Linville has bought the Fred Parshall cottage in the east part of town. This is a nice, well improved little piece of property and will make Aunt Anne a comfortable home. W. H. Hoblitzell had the place for sale and it was through him the deal was transacted. Mrs. Linville will take possession right away.

Mrs. Anna Campbell bought the Mrs. Anne Linville residence and will get possession next Monday, when Mrs. Linville will move to the place recently purchased from Mr. Parshall. Mrs. Campbell will build on three more rooms and remodel the house, making of it a modern little cottage.
