Notes or transcript:  “A St. Louis pastor has invited the men of his congregation to take off their coats during the services in church and to make themselves as comfortable as possible during the hot weather. We believe that if the reverend gentlemen of Skidmore would adopt the same rule the male attendance in their churches would be greatly increased. If it is all right to take a fellows’ coat off in church at St. Louis, where can there be any objections to Skidmore?”
