Skidmore Victorious.

Manager Wilke and his ball team went to Burlington Junction last Sunday and gave the aggregation at that place a trouncing.  It is a little out of the ordinary for the Skidmore boys to defeat the Junctionites, but they went with the determination of winning this game; which they did with ease.  Roberts, who took care of the delivery end for Skidmore, was in fine form and induced some of the best batters of the opposing team to lay down the bat and retire to the bench a number of times during the game.  The score was Skidmore 8, Burlington Junction 6.  Several from this place attended the game.
