Susan Strickler sells her house, 1909

Real estate news from the Skidmore New Era (Skidmore, Missouri), March 25, 1909, page 1:

Real Estate Transfers.

Some more real estate changes took place in Skidmore last week.  W. S. Linville purchased the Mrs. Susan Strickler residence in the south part of town, one of the best residences in the city with furnace and modern improvements, four lots and good barn. Consideration $3,200.  Possession will be given within the next 30 days. Mrs. Strickler is not intending to leave the city and will purchase a smaller residence as this contains more house room than she needs for her use.

E. L. Armstrong sold his residence in the seventh addition, Lots 1 and 2 in Block 1, to John H. Bender of Graham.  Consideration about $2000.  Mr. Bender is a brother of Uncle Sam Bender of this place and father-in-law to Prof. J. N. Geyer and C. H. Geyer.  This is a very beautiful and desirable residence and will make Mr. Bender a good home.
