Notes or transcript:  “Some strangers passed through town Wednesday and stole Freddie Kellogg’s promising young bulldog. Mr. Kellogg sent J. T. Tate to hunt the dog and the people who got it. Mr. Tate was successful and not only got the dog but prevailed on the men to pay him two dollars for his trouble of hunting them up.”
