Notes or transcript:  “Tuesday was a good day for rabbits and nearly everyone who likes to burn powder was out after them. The best kill which we have hard to date was made by Calvin Shaw, J. W. and Bert Knepper on Mr. John Knecht’s farm seven miles west and one mile north of Skidmore. They bagged 44 rabbits and seven quail.”
