Notes or transcript:  “William Taylor, west of town, while doing chores Sunday morning, stepped on an old rusty nail and is now nursing a very sore foot because of it. The point of the nail went through the sole of a rubber boot and penetrated the flesh of the foot to the depth of an inch. He isn’t doing much farming at present.”
