Notes or transcript:  “In company with Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Duval, Mr. and Mrs. A. Pinkston and son, Louie, and James Lawson, A. C. Dodds and Ary Miller, we spent a most delightful evening, last Friday, at the pleasant home of Mr. and Mrs. L. N. Torrey, east of town. We were treated to some very nice music by the Misses Edith and Carrie Torrey, and also delectable ice cream and cake. It was a most enjoyable occasion.”
