Vandersloot Buys Out M. P. Horn

Business news from the April 24, 1903 Skidmore Standard, page 1:

Bought Out M. P. Horn.

F. W. Vandersloot, of Maitland, has bought the fixtures of M. P. Horn’s butcher shop, and moved them into his shop yesterday.  Mr. Vandersloot has control of Maitland’s butcher shop, and will leave Byron Halstead in charge of his business in this city.  In Maitland he has all the latest improvements in the butchering line and will do most of his killing in that city.  He is prepared to run a first-class shop.

We are strangers in the city, but by no means stranger to the butcher business. We have had many years experience in this line and do not flatter ourselves when we say all our meats are served to the public in a first class manner. F. W. Vandersloot.
